    Accepted Solution

    Found this in a newsgroup

I've tried that in I.E. and it just opens the Windows Default Programs panels, which WMP is set as the default for wav. I tried it again and got it to work but instead of just checking "use my default player" in the "Set Program Access and Default Programs" I had to select the WMP as the default, even though it was set as the default.

    Another Windows "gotcha".

Chosen all options including defautl player and autostart to be WMP - wav still opens in quicktime in browser
