Unable to open VM Consoles
Hello,
All of a sudden, we are unable to open VM console from the VI client. The error says "virtual machine config file does not exist".
Also, the SAN Storage LUN on which these VMs are residing is showing blank if we browse the datastore, but the servers residing on this LUN are up and running, only console cannot be opened.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

so the vm is on the lun yes? does any other vm based on the san lun still work?
Log into the ESX 3.5 console, and check the vmfs datastore.
Also Restart Network Management Agents on the ESX Server.
