Once it comes back try to open a support request and send the related log files to them when requested.<br />

All of a sudden, we are unable to open VM console from the VI client. &nbsp;The error says &quot;virtual machine config file does not exist&quot;. &nbsp;<br />

Also, the SAN Storage LUN on which these VMs are residing is showing blank if we browse the datastore, but the servers residing on this LUN are up and running, only console cannot be opened.<br />
<br />
Any help will be greatly appreciated.<br />

Hello,

Unable to open VM Consoles

VMware, a software company founded in 1998,  was one of the first commercially successful companies to offer x86 virtualization. The storage company EMC purchased VMware in 1994. Dell Technologies acquired EMC in 2016. VMware’s parent company is now Dell Technologies.
