append header to filtered request

We have set up an proxy on IIS 6 using weblogic's ISAPI plugin (iisproxy.dll, iisforward.dll) which forwards requests to multiple weblogic servers. Since IIS does the SSL validation, the client certifcate headers are not passed.

Is it possible to grab the X509 certificate header in IIS, and simply append it to the request sent to weblogic, or perhaps append an attribute or header with just the CN value of the certifcate?

Ths would be entirely up to the WebLogic filters since they control what is forwarded to the WebLogic application server.  If it is possible it would be somewhere in the WebLogic filter configuration.
