here are the steps to export ACT! Contact data to Outlook:

Obviously, Outlook doesn't have the ability to handle much of the ACT! data and you'll have to lose that.

I got enough of the contact data, but no calendar, no tasks, and no notes.
Can't I get those too?

While there are ways to export them from ACT!, Outlook doesn't really have the means to support the data types that ACT! uses for those

Can I import ANY calendar data?  Anything would be better than nothing.

You could use the ACT! Copy-calendar function first... obviously, the activities in Outlook aren't linked to contacts

I copied the calendar to Outlook, but the only activities that transferred were those associated with my (the administrator's) contact.  Any way to copy the others?

Only by logging in as each user and each Outlook Profile. There are addons that doing it for multiple users, bt they can be a bit expensive

I'm confused.  I'm the only user, and the only Outlook Profile is mine.

If only one user, it should have copied all the activities... depending on the settings you had when copying them

Thanks, reading through some of these related articles, I found the suggestion to delete the contents of the calendar first before copying, and it worked...well enough.  There are a lot of inaccuracies that I'll need to correct, but it's a good beginning toward my goal of shifting to Outlook.  So thanks a lot.

Just wondering why you'd want to shift to Outlook? You lose a lot of functionality
