I am working on a website for a business that wants to link to their Facebook page, the link works fine in Firefox, but IE and Safari redirect to the login page.  The page is publically viewable (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Patchwork-Inn/137947296257611).  It is just in an plain anchor tag <a>.  I have to get this resolved and would greatly appreciate any help!

Thanks in advance.

This is the full link:
<a href="http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Patchwork-Inn/137947296257611"target="_blank" id="facebook">

Here is the page that is using the link (at the bottom) http://dev.ablesoftsolutions.com/clientapps/0744patc/development/index.htm.  I should add that when I go to the URL directly, it works, but not through the link.  And of course, you can't be logged in to FB to see the behavior!

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Yeah I understand what you are saying.

Replace the link with the one I posted.

I took off the #! after the .php.

Seems to work fine.

Try replacing your link with this:

<a href="http://www.facebook.com/home.php/pages/Patchwork-Inn/137947296257611"target="_blank" id="facebook">

I hit submit way too fast. Ignore last two.

Got it!  That did the trick, thanks!  So the original link was trying to go through the home page I assume.  I got the link from the client and didn't think anything about it.
