The last few days when I boot up I get the message "The C:\$Recycle\.......tif folder does not exist. The file may have been moved or deleted. Do you want to create it?" maybe ten times (each occurance has the option of treating the next 65 to 2300 files the same. What is happening and how do I keep this from happening?

    can you paste complete path?
have you tried to run a antivirus doftware?
empty your recycle bin and remove all program from startup (use msconfig.exe)

    Accepted Solution

Thank you for your input. As it turns out, I was able to find a Microsoft Fix-It download that diagnosed the problem as a corrupted Recyle Bin and corrected the problem.
