What kind of printer and what is the client OS originating the connection?  Are the drivers for that printer loaded on your server, and if so, are the labels the same?

This has to deal with all printers...

If locally my printer is set to pull from tray to when it redirects it goes back to automatically select. The drivers on the server are the same as the computer connecting.

    Accepted Solution

I saw this posting on another site and it worked for me....

I logged in and changed the settings on the server when the printer redirected after waiting about 20 minutes the settings were saved with no problem even after my session ended.
