Transferring PayPal data to a MySQL database

I'm adding a MySQL  database to an existing site that's using PayPal for transactions.  Once the database is built and collecting new transactions, I need to somehow transfer the information from 50,000 PayPal transactions that have already occurred,  into the database.  I don't want to re-invent any wheels here, if I can help it,  so I'm wondering if someone has already worked out a way to do this , or knows of some great tools that would help.  I'm fine with using phpMyAdmin any way I can to make it easier.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Consider posting this question in the PayPal developer's forums.  You can find them via X.COM and you will probably want to join those forums, too, as your application develops.  PayPal may have an API for this, but I do not know of one.
