missing mssql enterprise maanger

hi, on a won2003 server i cannot log into mssql 2000, neither enterprise manger, nor query analyzer. Not sure what corrupted, i am runnig a virus scan. The service is running. Wonder if you cld assist me in this issue, tnx.

If No, You had installed only DB Server and not the client tools.

Reinstall the SQL Server client.

yes it was on the server before, both enterprise manager and query analyzer

If not, Do a repair on sql server client install.

No, this is not the problem. I am just getting the latest antivirus and after I make sure no virus on the server i will re-install the client. Antivirus found W32DownloadupB whcih it cleaned but its recurring.

So You need to repair you sql server installation and make sure the WORM was cleaned. It should not be recurring, If it is, then its problem with ur anti virus.
