we just converted to Server 2008 from 2003.  I am used to sharing ts sessions using TS Manager.
Does this exist in server 2008 as it did in server 2003 and exactly where is it.

Logon to windows 2008 server and follow the below steps to open Terminal Server Manger.

    1) Click on Start -> Run.
    2) Type tsadmin.msc and hit enter key.

    Hope this will help.

why is it, that sometimes it will not allow me to connect and remote controll an other users sesion..
we use this feature often in our server 2003...
it is Remote desktop services manager

in server 2003 it was Terminal service manager.

this is the updated counterpart... yes  ?

Is the option greyed out ? Are you getting any error while taking remote control of other users ? Please provide me more information.

Yes, both options are same(Terminal service manager in 2003  and Remote desktop services manager in 2008).
