Jquery .mask effect

Hi,

I am using the .mask effect to make the screen turn black.
How can i hide/show an element when a link is clicked and ensure it is in front of the mask?

I want to recreate the lightbox effect

Thanks

You can use the expose's callback function
	$("#mydiv").expose({
		onClose: function(event) {
			// your code to hide element here
		}
	});

Open in new window

for more configuration option please visit here
Hope it help

ah i found a method that works better called expose()

the only problem i have now is being able to hide an element when the dimming is turned off.

Any ideas?
