The form called “NewToolDataEntry” is not submitting the data from fields “Tool Name”, “Type of Device” and “Location”.

I don’t really understand why.

your combo boxes “Tool Name”, “Type of Device” and “Location” and Brand are all Unbound.

set the Control Source of the combo boxes respectively to the table fields.

that's because your combo boxes are not bound to any field in the database.

If you open the form in design view, it will show unbound.

To store data, you have to have them bound to a field in your table.

    Thanks Capricorn1,

I am new to Access and don't like it much but I do like learning more as I need to know this. Sorry about taking so long to answer (I saw your quick response) but my computer crashes all the time and is likely a covert Apple II C. I am supposed to get a new one soon.
