I receive an error of Installation failed when installing Powerpoint viewer 2007

    Installing on Windows XP environment

    uninstall all previous verion of power point viewer ex: 2003 and then reboot then reinstall the 2007 and you can just install the most recent from microsoft:

    this should work if not post your error code.

    Thanks.  Did not have any version of Viewer installed.  Discovered the login I was using did not have admin privileges.  (Duh!)  Problem solved.
