I have a Domain Controller with dns role. I was looking at my top sessions on my firewall and noticed that server was top of the list. I do know it is a very &quot;noisy&quot; server but when I was looking at the session alot of the traffic is going to 4.2.2.2 public dns. Is this normal?

The Domain Name System (DNS) is a hierarchical, globally distributed system responsible for associating the name of a computer, service or other resource into an IP address for connecting to the Internet or a private network. Most prominently, it translates domain names to the numerical IP addresses needed for the purpose of computer services and devices worldwide.
