Dns Server reaching out to 4.2.2.2

I have a Domain Controller with dns role. I was looking at my top sessions on my firewall and noticed that server was top of the list. I do know it is a very "noisy" server but when I was looking at the session alot of the traffic is going to 4.2.2.2 public dns. Is this normal?

This is a free public DNS internet server.  Your internl DNS is going to this for external resolution.

Thank you Vinchenzo I thought it might be a silly question I knew it was a public DNS. but it seemed like a lot of traffic I just wanted to make sure that it was "normal" :)
