Is there a way to configure Outlook to Archive the Inbox by default in Group Policy or registry?

I need to figure out how to default 200 clients to archive the Outlook Inbox for 2007 and 2010 clients.

Yes, you can do this via group policy.
I used this method to do the opposite - by disabling auto-archive and stop outlook clients from archiving emails locally.
You need to download and install the admin templates first from here:

Then you can use group policy to set clients to determine how you want them to archive as you wish by following these instructions:
