I have this slider I am working on here: http://ryancoughlin.com/files/slider/test_slider.html

I am trying to do a couple of things, and I keep getting stumped after spending countless time in firebug adjusting and testing.

- When I click on a title on the course, my goal is to get it to be placed on top of the text and in the center (tried making the width flexible for it doesnt have to have a set width)

My goal is to mimic this image:  sliderr
Any thoughts?

Thank you.

Brute force suggests: <div id="knob" style="margin-left: -50px;"/>

The real problem is in course_slider.js at line 22

        // originally set to 50 or the half width of the knob, 100 is full knob width
        mx = $(this).position().left + 92.5 - 100;

Open in new window
