I have a DELL 180AS KVM switch that I cannot get any response out of.  I have tried searching for solutions on DELL's websites, forums and manuals

Does anyone know of a way to manually reset this kvm?  I mean actually opening the cover and pulling a jumper or something similar.

I have checked the power and it is gettign 120VAC tothe transfomer and the transformer is putting 5VDC into the board (which is what is stated on the transformer).

Any ideas?

isn't there a reset button right next to the power switch, one that will require you to use a paper clip

Nope.  Just a small port with a green LED.

Found out that the power supply is actually bad.  It appears that two caps on it are bad.  I have ordered replacement caps and will try and replace the bad ones.  It's worth it.  This KVM is $$$$

Just an update - the replacement caps worked!  I was able to replace the bad ones in the power supply and presto.

Now if I can just update the firmware.
