Runtime error 429 when opening MS Word 2007

I have several users (all WinXP sp3) when they open Word 2007 they get a Runtime Error 429, Active X component can't create object. These are new installs of Office and they do not have any automation or scripts trying to create anything...

    Are there any addins installed? If yes, disable them one by one and find the culprit :)

    Try doing a microsoft office repair on one of the systems. This can be done from the add/remove programs in control panel.

    There was a addin template in the word startup folder that was causing this.
