silverlight keep creating folders

Hi

I have 15 Computers runing windows XP that keep creating lots of folders like 2ced040f523334e2713d08c1db with files lile install.exe, silverlight.exe, install.res.dll
each folder has around 5 meg.
I try to delete it but it does not delete.
Any idea what can cause this?

Those are probably Silverlight Updates.

1
Click the Windows "Start" button and choose "Control Panel" from the "Start Menu." You will see a group of folder icons or a list of folder names, depending on how your folders display in Windows.

2
Find the "Add and Remove Programs" icon or folder in the XP Control Panel window. In Vista, the folder's name is "Programs and Features."

3
Open the folder. In Windows XP, make sure that the "Show Updates" box at the top of the screen has a check mark in it. Select "View Installed Updates" from the task pane on the left side of the screen.

4
Scroll through the alphabetical list to find the Silverlight updates. Windows automatically displays your installed programs and installed updates alphabetically. In XP, the updates are listed under the program's name.

5
Highlight the oldest Silverlight update first, if there is more than one. You can only remove one at a time, so make a note of how many there are.

6
Click the "Uninstall" button, then click "OK." Vista users may also need to accept this action in "User Account Control."

7
Wait for the Windows uninstaller to finish. Highlight additional updates and click "Uninstall" again, if necessary

Hi
Sorry for the delay.
I was waiting to see if any aditioanals folders will get create it after each weekly updates.
Looks like there is only one folder now that was create it on the April 30th.
So looks like is working.
I try to accept BCipollone answer but looks like the abandoned question request need to be cancel first.
