My 1st guess would be that you may be hitting certain closed ports between the 2 endpoints.    Are these 2 in the same domain?  Using the same pool?  Are they federated?   do they bypass firewalls?

Does the Desktop share with any of your employees ?   Is it just this one?   Can this one share with anyone else, or is it just this one person to this one person?

As a reference ,here are the required ports for communications (make sure no firewall rules are blocking:

I am able to connect to see other peoples desktops when they are sharing their desktop. The persons having the issue it does not matter who he is sharing his desktop with we are getting black screen with a pause symbol. The person having this issue in the same building and are OCS is currently on BPOS.

So we know it's only 1 person.

I would 1st check for any firewalls (windows firewall, symantec Security, etc...)     Turn them all off just for a test.

If this turns out not to be it, I would remove and reinstall the client along with the rollup.

Disabled Symantec and windows firewall reinstalled the OCS client same issue. I am trying to figure out if there is something in his AD account that was not set up correctly that is preventing him from sharing with OCS. I am able to use another type of program that will allow him to share his desktop.
