Hello everyone,

We move 2 laptops(one XP one Win7) from subnet A to subnet B. Those 2 laptops work flawlessly when they were in sbunet A. However, when they run the app in subnet B the following error occurs:

Run-time error '-2147217865(80040e37)';
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'dbo.tblCCWorkorder'.

All other computers in subnet B run the app no problem. Since those 2 laptops were working in subnet A and all other computers were working fine, i highly doubt there's problem with the coding. I believe the problem lies on the laptops. Please help me out. Thank you.

Please also check the system event log messages and see  if this is not a security issue.

i really dont think that's the case because they are 2 brand new laptops with only standard software installed. they were on subnet A for testing before shipped out to subnet B at the other office at which they cant connect.

I found the solution to my problem.

We have different subnets for the wifi and ethernet connection. for some reason these 2 laptops had higher priority number in wifi than the ethernet (it was verified by disabling the wifi and the app works).

we are in business after changing the binding order of the adapter.
