Printing CUCM pages in IE8

I'm experiencing a problem that seems to be a simple Internet Explorer frames issue but I'm wondering if anyone has a solution or work around:

In Cisco Uniified Communications Manager , there's a web base administration screen  that when I try to print any content (Example For CUCM guru's:  Device->Phones->phone mac ), I'm only recieving the header menu / navigation bar and the content in the lower "frame" that's visable .  I could care less about the header but the only work around I've discovered so far is to cut&paste the entire content from IE to Word and print from there.  Anything content that you would have to scroll down to see doesn't print.

ps.  In IE ->File->Print->Options the print frames select is grayed out.

    Accepted Solution

CUCM 8.x does not use frames.  That is why that option is "grayed out".

Why don't you use the Bulk Administration-->import/export-->Export feature to grab what you want and print from Excel?

It may not be the tradition html frames but there's definity some sort of formating (css?) that's forcing the navigation to freeze to the top of the page and impact the printing of the page.

Exporting requires extra work.  I'd agree if I was manipulating the output or searching for something but to just do a stare and compare I think a printout of a copy of the same screen you're doing the data entry into would be the simplest solution.
