Adding a video player to my website

I have a user base website and I would like to allow my members to be able add their videos to their area for the site. Can someone tell me the best way to do this, I would like to have them play back where the visitor can skip or select the area of the video they would like to watch, like you see on video player today. I'm using Coldfusion as my scripting???

Thank you

Cf isn't going to help (except perhaps to provide a db connection for vid info)

CF plays nicely with Flex/Flash but it's a whole new coding experience and quite a challenge without Flash/Flex builder

Check out here for some free (ish) player suggestions

and then there's html5 video for the browsers that support it

I missed the easiest - embed videos from existing services like youtube
