How to reset PHPMyAdmin password?

This is using SUSE Linux Enterprise server 11 SP1, with LAMPP is installed as well as PHPMyAdmin. The server was initially set up by userA, and now userA has resigned from the company. Now, I'm taking over the responsibility, and there is no record of the user/password to access phpmyadmin website. BTW, how to reset the user/password? Should I do it from MySQL?

Try looking for /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt
phpmyadmin user is MySQL user, if you have mysql root user password, you can enter it in field.

other way is use /phpmyadmin/script/setup.php, but many phpmyadmins disable it for security.

btw before use phpmyadmin, change their alias, to something "readable for you"

like usernameadmin, mycompanyadmin

adminofphp123, any, but not standart, or you fastest get hacked, by special bots (you can check /var/log/apache2 messages, for any GET (like ... phpmyadmin, phpadmin pma php, adminphp, myadmin, phpmyadmin1.7.0 etc..)
