cant install backup exec new 64 server, need the 64 bit version of backup exec 11d?
hi
i had old file server on 32 bit server that was trasnferd into new 64 bit server.
i tried to reinstalled the backupexec but it failed, my guess i need the 64 bit version of backupexec media server right?
if yes, how do i obtain it? where can i download the 11d version in 64 version?

i downloaded 64 bit version but still having the same problem
can it be a problem with win 2008??

this mean i have to upgrade ?(cost lots of money :( , dont know how i will get it)
If you have a support contract, upgardes are included automatically. Otherwise, looks like it's not supported.
If the needs aren't too complex, native backup provided with server 2008 is also very nice. It even creates a complete image of the computer so that you can restore the server to dissimilar hardware.
