Does Windows 7 client run on Netware 5.1

Hi

I have an old Netware 5.1 server and I need to use the Windows 7 client to connect to it. Do these new clients work with the old servers?

Yes, they do. You will have to install the Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows (IR6) however.

Newer versions of Netware and OES support CIFS, Netware 5.1 doesn't, so the client is required. Download it here:
