ABCPDF PDF to TIFF conversion

It seems that ABCPDF changes the size of the TIFF file after conversion.  Does ABCPDF add any additional tags or information to the file after conversion.  We are using TIFF Group 4 compression.

    What do you mean by "changes the size" after the conversion? How do you determine the size before the file it's saved? You can find out exactly what is in the TIFF file by using a tool like tiffinfo (it's part of libtiff - TIFF is a "tagged image file format", so in addition to the raw image data in whatever compression format you select, there are always tags in the file. Otherwise it would not be a TIFF file.
