DFS share permissions stange behavior?

I've created a DFS root share with replication, I can write to it if I go to the server names ie. \\server1\dfs or \\server2\dfs but not to the domain version domain\dfs,

the share permissions seems correct, but nobody can write to the DFS share?

    you need to look at the root dfs share permission.  Most likley this is everyone read only
