OCR Software for iPad Handwriten Note Taking

As the title states, we have had several different groups at our firm approach us asking about taking hand writen notes on the iPad - there are several options, NoteTakerHD, MSOneNote, etc.  The challenge is that they would like to be able to convert the hand writen notes to typed characters for formating and editing.

From everything I've read there isn't anything out there currently, but I imagine the demand is pushing for such a product to be brought forth.  If anyone knows of anything, regardless of product cost I'd be interrested in it.

There is nothing good out there currently and that's because handwriting recognition is poor even on high-horsepower computers to say nothing of the limiting capabilities of the iPad.

The only app that I would consider is smartNote (http://mysmartnote.net/sync/) because it features a Graffiti-like character recognition option:

Best available solution, the software for OCR just isn't there yet.
