If it's there it should be obvious *.wph or *.rom in a folder called backup in the directory you launched Winphlash from. If it's not there it didn't happen.<br />
Is the Vista BIOS any use to you?<br />

I would like to get the BIOS version before 3.04. Do you know where an older BIOS could be located? It is not clear what the ACER people are saying, but could the BIOS be part of the restore disks that came with the machine?

ACER is clueless about why I need this. Basically the TPM forces me to press F1 or F2 at boot so I cannot automatically reboot my machine. I am trying to locate a place where I can download the previous BIOS and flash it.
