Personnaly I use Navicat to schedule and create a .psc backup file that can easily be restored or copied to whatever backup media I'm using. &nbsp;<a href="http://www.navicat.com" rel="ugc">www.navicat.com</a><br />

I just inherited 2 MySql DBs and want to make sure my backups contain everything they need. &nbsp;I plan to use mysqldump and want to back up the 2 dbs separately but wanted to know if there are any system type dbs that need to be backed up as well? &nbsp;(Like the master db in Sql Server)<br />

MySql Backup best practices
