CUDA 2D Array

Hello!  I am new to CUDA programming.  I am a little confused as to how to use a 2D array.  The array I want to use is a 3X10000 array.  How do I go about setting up the thread block/grid?  I don't completely understand the thread block/grid concept, so any extra information would be appreciated!

Thank you for your assistance!

Thanks for replying!  I had already reviewed this site, and although it deals with 2D arrays, I don't believe it helps my specific scenario.  I may have to just keep experimenting and continue reading the API.

Please post any other information you think may be relevant.
