Consolidate data from several lists in one view

Hello,

Is there any function in SharePoint 2010 which enables me to consolidate the data from several tables into one? For example I have three diffent tables and all these tables contain inventory data for several users. Now I want to create a central view somehow in which you can see all the diffrent items which are being assigned to one user. Would that be possible somehow?

Thank you

That is doable . but will require some work.

Can you send the Columns of all the three lists.

Also those list must be on the same web .

George,

There will be actually ore then three lists but here are three of them. I attached screenshots of the structure of the three lists called Desktops, Laptops and Phones.

I would like to create a list or web part or view where you can see which devices have been assigned to a user. I actually would only need the name, type of device and asset no in one list.

Here is the easy Solution

[1] You will need a page where you can add those web parts .
[2] Add the web parts {all your lists on the site page , either side by side or in a single column , that is your own layout}.
[3] Add a SharePoint List filter webpart , { normally under Filter section}.
[4] Add connection from the Filter Choice { on the Assigned to person} -> To the Assigend to on each of the other views. that will do it.

If you are not familiar with this webpart I suggest you use it against a single list first and then use it against all three.

I just finished a prototype here for your help.

Best of luck.

Hey Geoge,

Thank you for your answer. I will check into it and see if I can figure it out.

Thanks for sending me the link to the expensive solution but I prefer the cheap one.

Thank you
