How to left-click a thumbnail image and generate a popup page

I have a client who wants a mouse-over effect of a set of thumbnails that when moused over, will make a larger image appear above. That's easily achieved in Fireworks using Javascript Behaviors. However, in addition to that effect, on the same thumbs he wants a "left-click" that will generate a popup page that shows that same thumbnail, but also has a Print option, contain textual content, and a link to another site.

Can someone help me please?

I just try to do what my boss tells me to do. The client tells the boss, the boss tells me. I'm just a web slave trying to do my job. Actually, I found a JavaScript function that is working, but it's a left-click. I've only found a right-click to a contextual menu, which is not what I need, so thank you anyway. I use jQuery almost daily, but haven't seen or learned anything so far that will do this right-click pop-up. Thanks anyway. I appreciate your response and attempt to be helpful.

Thank you Kusala for attempting to help me. However, I needed a pop-up window where I can add content, and not a Context Menu. Also, the client has decided that it should be a right-click, and not a left click. Crazy. I've never seen this done. Any thoughts?

The client should not be deciding which mouse button to click.  That decision has already been made by the people who built the PC and the Mac.

Learn about jQuery.  It has many plug-ins for screen activation and something from that community will undoubtedly meet your needs.
