Network Monitoring question

If I connect a PC with wireshark installed to a span port, will I be able to RDP into this PC from a remote location and look at the captured traffics?

Please advise.

Many thanks.

the answer is yes you will...
you can RDP as you always do.. then start wireshark and start capturing traffic from the Interface that the RDP uses.
if you want to sniff only the RDP traffic start the capture "not" in promiscuous mode and you'll capture only the traffic originally addressed to the RDP interface.
