Bluetooth & IMEI

Hi.
If I send a bluetooth file ( or any other content ) from one mobile to another, does it also send the IMEI of the sender mobile ?
In general, I need to know if there is something that can identify the sender on any content received by Bluetooth.

Hi,

Bluetooth devices have their own device hadware addresses or IDs (like MAC address of a Network Adapter) so I am not aware of them sending the IMEI.

So: are this hardware addresses or IDs transmitted during sending contents over bluetooth?
if so, this means that the sender can be identified!!

if you need detailed info - look it up at https://www.bluetooth.org/apps/content/

but in short - each BT device has BT address which is sent during the discovery and the handshake. this is the main unique characteristics of the bluetooth-enabled devices, just like MAC address of the hardware.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile gives you wide range overview of various available profiles.

Yes, RobMobility is right.
I am sorry, it is my mistake, I don't know if the moderator can do anything regarding this?
