Cisco E500 http access only config backup

hi all,

I have a cisco catalyst express 500 switch which only have http access (no telnet), how can i take a backup of the configuration ? like in a cfg file or something, because there is no telnet access to that model to do show run and copy the configs.

Thank you in advance.

Well there is a CLI emulation in the form of http GET. You need to type "http://switch/exec" and you will get a http CLI. Try issue the command sh run or sh config and see if you can copy paste the output to notepad. The attached image will show you how exactly it looks like.

Best,
