Hello there,

I have successfully installed SBS 2008 consisting of the primary SBS 2008 server and a secondary server (not currently being used for anything) – Next stage security - I am proposing to use TREND MICRO Worry-Free Business Security 7.

My question is can I install the product on my secondary server to act as the primary Trend Micro security server?

Many thanks,

Sam.

Hi Sam,
you can install the secondary server as primary TM server, no problem at all :)

Thanks for that - will I still have the ability to monitor activity via the SBS Management console?

I'm not sure about that, possibly not. You can however open the WFBS management webpage from anywhere withing your network.

Thanks EvilKnievel, I just want to run as little as possible on the primary SBS 2008 Server.

You're welcome, thanks for accepting.
Keep in mind that you install TM on a disk with anough space, WBFS has a tendancy to grow, 15GB is no exception.
