Dreaweaver Invalid Markup makes my dispal all messed up

HELP .. I am having a similar problem .. I am using Dreamweaver 8 (i know but i am in love with the layout view and don't touch cs5 yet) save the criticism .lol

Well anyways i just got a new cpu and when I open certain sites up on my new cpu WIN 7 64bit I get the Markup Invalid because its overlapping or unclosed tag . error .. and my display mode is all messed up .. These sites are online and view fine in the browser .. but i wont be able to update them ..

I have added screen shots of the error .. I have only added a few of my sites to the new Dreamweaver so far .. and am afraid to add more until i figure this out .. But anyways some work fine .. and even as you will see in my screen shots .. one that views fine has the same exact code as one that has the error .. .. I will also provide URL's to the sites online in case you need to look at the code closer .. the one that is a example of viewing fine is a site in progress so will only be the home page ..

Thanks in advance for any help ..

Sites from screen shots 1  http://www.granitepeakdev.com/
2-3 - http://www.caplures.com/

and the one with same code but views great .. http://www.waveswebdesign.com/gedc/

well windows 7 has a different browser than earlier versions how do you do the local view I would say us wamp any way you problem probably relates to a different version of ie

the error points a a missing div but your online version must have the div so why hasn't your local

it is the view in dreamweaver that is messed up .. those are snags of dreamweaver .. and the online versions are exactly the same

i use cs5 as it works fab I think its related to version 8 view as cs5's view is much better so what I am saying is use a view via wamp as thats a virtual server installed and takes it away from dremweaver

THere are 3 views in 8 .. standard expanded and layout .. I use the layout view and it is not in cs5 .. but thats here nor there .. I am concerned with the "design view" in my dreamweaver 8 .. that is what is not viewing correctly .. matter a fact you cant see anything other than the header and link bars of the page ..

I think if i fix the mark up errors it will view properly again .. at least thats my hope .. They viewed fine on my old pc .. even using same program (8) .. and what is even weirder the last snag it .. of the orange site .. has the same code as the cap lures site .. but one views fubar .. and the other views correctly ..

anyone have any ideas for me ..

once again .this is design view in dreamweaver 8 ..

you dont have a /table closing tag aso noticed you have two body sections
0

WavesWebDesignAuthor Commented:
That table close at the bottom of the code .. but maybe the body tags is the problem .. should erase something .. and if so what part ..
0

WavesWebDesignAuthor Commented:
Well your digging helped .. the funny thing is that code you have with the extra body tag ..was actually a server side include .. so once i figured that out i was able to delete the tags and it views good again .. thanks a whole lot for helping me through this ..
