I have windows 2003 on HP server  with 1 GB NIC.
but when I login to windows 2003 and try to copy a folder (about 1.3GB) I loose network connection.
I tried to look on the event viewer logs, but havenot found anything in the system or applications log.

Anyone  had this issue?

Ok, I had a similar issue and it went away when I changed the cable. I'm not saying this is the case with your issue but probably worth a try though...
