itunes / ipod -sharing a movie - easy?

A client has asked if someone has a movie on an ipod and they want to borrow that file and transfer it to their own system to watch - is there a way.

I assume not because of digital rights and the file would need to be authorised before they could view it, but wanted to be sure. Is there a way to covert it into a normal video file?
THanks in advance

    Accepted Solution

it depends on the source of the file, it could be copyrighted as you stated. If not you can locate the file in itunes, right-click it and find it in Finder. Copy to another iTunes library and you're done
