Replication issues when running repadmin

Hi,

We're running a single domain, after migrating away from a situation where we had multiple sub domains. We recently went through a process of cleaning up Sites & Services, removing sites that had closed down, and decommissioning domain controllers that were no longer required/active.

SInce then, one server has been giving a replication error when you run repadmin /replsum. The output is:

SRVDC01       >60 days            1 /  61    1  (8464) Synchronization attempt failed because the destination DC is currently waiting to synchronize new partial attributes from source. This condition is normal if a recent schema change modified the partial attribute set. The destination partial attribute set is not a subset of source partial attribute set.

The server is pingable, and if we create a new users on one of the other site DCs, this server does pick it up, so replication is happening.

Can anyone suggest how I can clear this error, and get the partial attribute set (PAS) to sync with the other DCs?

HI,

Thanks for the reply.

I found that post of google when I did my initial search, however after trying all of the steps, I receive other errors, such as:

DsReplicaSync() failed with status 123 (0x7b)
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect

DsReplicaSync() failed with status 8452 (0x2104)
The naming context is in the process of being removed or is not replicated from the specified server.

DsReplicaSync() failed with status 8445 (0x20fd)
The replication operation encountered an object with an invalid instance type.

the server has gone stale... on the server with no replication force remove ad.  restart and then run dcpromo and add ad
