Outlook 2007, The message store has reached its maximum size.

We have a user experiencing the error on the title, we've made the account limitless on exchange but still having the problem. We don't want to delete emails either. Is there anyway we can fix this?

Re-create the user's outlook profile (backup to pst first to be on the safe side)

Can you give me steps how to do all that?
SteveIT ManagerCommented:
In outlook

file, import and export
export to a file
personal folder file (pst)
click on the top of your mailbox and tickt he box that says include subfolders
choose a location for the file to be saved

click ok/finish

when completed close and reopen outlook then click file, open, outlook data file and browse to the location you chose for your backup then double click it to ensure it has backed up the data.

Once you are sure your have a backup in pst format and you have checked the data is there

close outlook
goto c:\documents and settings\username\application data\microsoft\outlook
rename the .ost file there to something else (can be viewed via view/details)

next refer to this answer from a previous question on how to recreate profile (pls read through before deleting anything)
