Hi Guys,

Do you know any tools that we could use to stress test/load test for copying file to a network mapped drive in windows?

Please advise. Thanks.

    Have you tried Ethereal?

Copy very large file 1GB across network.  That'll stress it out. Monitor the connection by pinging the IP of the receiptent machine, and watch the ping times. When done pinging hit CTRL-C

    Example: ping -t

When done copying review the statistics for Lost Packets or large ping times.

When we were testing our network and new servers and switches I happened upon this site.

Gave us a pretty good idea so we could deploy our SIP network.
