double click excel file content doesn't display properly
Hi:
I purchased Office Home and Student 2007 on line last year and installed it on my Windows 7 Home Premium computer. There's an issue with Excel keeps bugging me. If I open an excel file by bringing up an Excel program first it'd work properly. But if I simply double click the file, the content looks like binary code which is un-readable. How should I fix this? I tried right click -> open with, but excel is not on the list of programs to be picked.
I can't locate .exe files for excel/words any where in my file system. Only found excel 2007.lnk and word 2007.lnk under the following two places:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\W indows\Sta rt Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office>
C:\Users\Shujen\AppData\Ro aming\Micr osoft\Inte rnet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu
Please help. Thanks.

Did you tried reinstalling it?
Try finding it here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\EXCEL.EXE
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\EXCEL.EXE
