Make internet explorer and firefox automatically guess at the local domain

Hi,

I am trying to remember how to set my computer to automatically guess at my local domain. For example, if I type in "uchc.edu", I want it to guess www.uchc.edu. Like wise, if I have a subdomain called mysite and i just type in "mysite" i want it to guess mysite.uchc.edu

I had it set this way once before, but then I formatted my PC and  now i don't rememeber how to set it back. Thanks!

TCP/IP config for your computer.  Select properties, advanced, DNS, and check "Append parent Suffixes of the Primary DNS suffix"

You can also specify a custom set to try in order
