MSDN SQL Server Enterprise missing features?

We were recently told by our DBA's that we couldn't use the MSDN SQL Enterprise installations because they were features or something missing compared to the retails versions.

Obviously this is for testing but I want to confirm this fact regardless because I am being told by another source that this is not the case.

This will be Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 Enterprise with SQL Server 2008 Enterprise
x2 in a cluster

No It will not. It will be same as the retails version. The difference is, You can have only one installation with that.

The developement version has all the features of the retail version

If you are downloading them from the MSDN Subscriber Downloads area then they are the full version.
There is an MSDN Evaluation Download area that has restricted versions although I think in time only.
I think your DBA is referring to an old practice of microsofts where some of the downloads from the technet download area used to have restricted features, this is no longer the case.
+1 to the other comments. The DBA that told you this is incorrect.
