website from email address does not exist

got an email from username@ctxt7.com to my cellphone

but went to
www.ctxt7.com
in a browser and got redirected to google


why do you think that this company does this

and is this a good way to send sms messages or do you know another way

The company must be using their domain for e-mail only

A:  A domain facilitates sending and receiving large volumes of e-mail.

A: E-mail to SMS isn't a bad way to do this.
