Microsoft Exchange 2010 Management Console - Initialization Failed

Just installed SBSB 2011 and want to confgure exchange but I am getting the following error when trying to click on Microsoft Exchange On_Premises in the EMS:

Initialization Failed

The following error occurred while searching for the on-premises Exchange server:

[fileserver.domain.local] Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: THe client cannot connect to the destination specified in the request.  Verfiy that the service on the destination is running and is accepting requests.  Consult the logs and documentation for the WS-Manangement service running on the destination, most commonly IIS or WinRM service: "winrm quickconfig".  For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic.  It was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer-UseWIA $true -SupressError $tru -CurrentVersion 'Version 14.1 (Build 218.15)".

Any idea on what is happening?  Obviusly I can''t configure exchange.

MIcrisift support resolved the issue.  AVG Server A?V protection was blocking the EMC (and possibly others).  Removing all services related to AVG re-enable the EMC.  Subsuently I uninstalled AVG until they reoslve the incompatibilty.

Resolution: Add the user to Organization Management group as mentioned in case

If unsuccessful then add the user to the following groups

Administrators
Delegated Setup
Discovery Management
Domain Admins
Domain Users
Enterprise Admins
Exchange Organization Administrators
GPO Creator Owners
Organization Management
Schema Admins
Server Management

The EMC is trying to connect to another server. If we change the the connection from remote server to local server, it works. To do that, open EMC. Right click on the Microsoft Exchange On-premises (servername) and select Properties. In Specify a server to connect, select the local Exchange server.

2: If it is connecting to the remote Exchange server, make sure you can access it.

And for WinRM check this article and follow the s

Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

I am using the admin account created with the machine setup.  Exchange is running locally on the same machine (typical SBS setup).  I did try adding the admin to those groups with the exception of Exchange Organization Administrators which I could not find but no luck.

IIf you right click on  Microsoft Exchange On-premises you only get the console view options, there is no server listed.

When I try the WinRM command I get this:
C:\Windows\system32>winrm enumerate winrm/config/listener
WSManFault
Message = The WinRM client cannot complete the operation within the time spe
cified. Check if the machine name is valid and is reachable over the network and
firewall exception for Windows Remote Management service is enabled.

Error number:  -2144108250 0x80338126
The WinRM client cannot complete the operation within the time specified. Check
if the machine name is valid and is reachable over the network and firewall exce
ption for Windows Remote Management service is enabled.

Also,

I have noticed this in the even log: Event 1019 MsExchange Transport
Failed to start listening (Error: 10049). Binding: 192.168.30.77:25.

This is the IP I configured the machine on but not it's current IP which is 192.168.1.1

Any ideas?  Thanks for everyones help.

Thanks for the help but I'm still not any further along.  Exchange does not seem to be working at all and it's not configurable with EMC.   If I try a WinRM quickconfig I get this:

C:\Windows\system32>winrm qc
WinRM already is set up to receive requests on this machine.
