    Hi there,

    do you try to install the package on a linux box?
    It seems, your Geo-IP-PurePerl just supports MSWin32.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOFTPKG NAME="Geo-IP-PurePerl" VERSION="1,25,0,0">
Look up country by IP Address
      <AUTHOR>Boris Zentner &lt;; </AUTHOR>
        <OS NAME="MSWin32"/>
        <ARCHITECTURE NAME="MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.10"/>
        <CODEBASE HREF="MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.10/"/>
        <PROVIDE NAME="Geo::IP::PurePerl" VERSION="1.25"/>

    Open in new window

    Maybe you follow the installation guide on this page and build the module for your box...

    If you're on windows, the URL that you're referencing:

    is for ActiveState 5.10.  You're running 5.12.  You should try:

      ppm install

    And see if you have any better luck.  Or, you might try
